The mission of the Gilchrist County Development Authority is to promote the development of new businesses desiring to either locate of relocate within the county and to assist existing businesses within its borders with expansion and/or enhancement activities.

As an organization, the Authority, under the supervision of the County Commission, can assist companies with locating available buildings to place their facilities in, the correct land zoning for an appropriate purchasing/leasing decision, coordinating with the various utilities, permitting procedures and setting up meetings with the departments within the county as needed.

The Authority is here to lend any new, potential and existing businesses within the Gilchrist County, a helping hand when it comes down to making important decisions. You can turn to us with your requests, knowing that there is an entity in our county that will assess your needs.
